Is investing in stock market shares only for the wealthy ?
Investing in the stock market is possible regardless of your budget.
Rule No. 1: not being compelled to recover money that is invested for short-term needs, since being pressured to sell can generate losses. There is no minimum amount, other than the price at which a share is bought if you have only bought one.
To start, you could, for example, buy three ADIDAS AG shares (corresponding brands: Adidas, Stan Smith, Predator, etc.), listed at €174.34 (closing value on 07/03/2022). It will cost you €523.02 plus €1.95 for example for the market order, i.e. €524.97 in total.
Market orders (whether for buying or selling), and particularly those of our partners, have considerably dropped in recent years.
When I open an online account with a broker, I don’t have to deposit money into it right away. This allows me to do some research first and to only invest when I’m ready to.

Is investing on the stock market reserved to experts?
For sophisticated financial products (warrants, deferred settlement system, by-products, etc.), the answer is yes.
But the answer is no for simple products like shares, provided you follow a few rules (and know that your invested capital is subject to risk):
– Never put all your eggs in the same basket, and invest in several placements chosen from different sectors in order to diversify your risks.
– Limit your number of stock lines all the same, in order to optimize your stock exchange costs (for example, 2 to 5 stock lines is a good start).
– Remember that selling or buying 1 or 10 shares of the same company will cost the same price.
– Take an interest in leading brands in their sector. Although you are not a financial expert, you are an informed consumer or a passionate connoisseur or even a professional in certain sectors of activity. Remember that the reputation of a brand stems from exemplary management (the best products or services) generating better financial performance than its competitors, and therefore better stock prices.
– Our broker partners’ web sites are clear and concise. Over time, they will also teach you about purely financial aspects.

What does it mean to be a shareholder of the company that owns your favorite brand?
A company’s capital is made up of a given number of shares (our broker partners will provide this information). For example, if a company’s capital is made up of 1,000,000 shares and you own 10 of them, you own 1/100,000th of the company.
How do I identify the listed company that owns the brand I'm interested in?
The Allbrands.markets search engine lists the brand portfolios of the world's largest listed companies.
The search bar appears on our homepage, but also at the top of all main pages of the website.
It is very practical and user-friendly, and works like Google: when you type the first letters of the name of the brand you are looking for, a drop-down menu appears and allows you to click on the corresponding logo brand.
If a brand doesn’t appear, it means the company that owns it is not listed on the stock market. This has become quite rare in the 21st century, but it can happen (Rolex, for example).
