TWITCH, the gaming site that counts (soon) a billion monthly visits!

With the Covid-19, Twitch is scaring the meters like its parent company AMAZON.

The live streaming gaming platform that has also diversified into music and discussions takes advantage of the confines of the world. In the Alexa.com ranking, it is currently ranked as the 32nd most visited website in the world with 900 million monthly visits.

TWITCH becomes No. 1 in the category of Alexa's "Games" platforms, ahead of Roblox.com and Chess.com, and follows other leaders in their category in the overall ranking such as Netflix (21st) or its parent company Amazon.com (12th).

The increase in the number of hours viewed in Q2 2020 vs. Q2 2019 on Twitch was 56%, with Grand Theft Auto 5 and Warzone leading the way.

"Twitch" queries on Google reached their highest level on April 26, 2020 (100), averaging 50 before March 2020 and remaining at nearly 90 last week (30). As a result, Twitch ranked 125th in our Q2 Top Web Popularity. We will therefore closely follow the new ranking for the third quarter which will be released in early August.

TWITCH is thus a brand of AMAZON, listed in New-York. The share gains 55% over 1 year and 468% over 5 years at the close of Friday 24th July 2020. The average recommendation of the analysts on MarketScreener.com is clearly to BUY. So a word to the wise...
